Headaches can also arise from other causative factors such as postural problems, menstrual complaints, high blood pressure, long-term medication use, lack of nutrition, or an unsuitable living and working environment.

Migraine headaches are slightly more complex than the average headache.

Headaches are separated into two types: primary and secondary. Primary headaches are caused by overactivity or problems with pain-sensitive structures in the head. Chemical activity in the brain, the nerves or blood supply surrounding the skull, or the muscles of the head and neck can play a role. On the other hand, secondary headaches are symptoms of an illness that can activate pain-sensitive nerves in the head. For example, acute sinusitis, concussion, dehydration, ear infection, or influenza can cause secondary headaches. 

Homeopathy can be successfully used for the treatment of acute headaches that have uncomplicated causes. However, for recurrent headaches or migraines, it is advisable to seek long-term treatment to identify the root cause.
