Caroline retrained as a massage therapist a few years ago after a career in publishing. Now specialising in Sports and Deep Tissue massage, Caroline’s interest in massage stems from her keen interest and participation in sports such as running, cycling, swimming and skiing. She understands that regular massage enables the body to prepare for training and competition and aids recovery after. Caroline has a particular interest in helping people recovering from injuries, which she feels she has a particular empathy for, having herself suffered a major knee injury in the past.
Having been in an office job for many years, Caroline also found she relied on regular massage treatments during that time to ease her body and mind after too much time in a stressful desk-bound job. With this in mind, she likes to encourage her clients to try sports massage, whether or not they take part in sport, as a way to help release tight muscles and aid stress relief in today’s busy modern world.
Caroline likes to help and support clients with suggested exercises and stretches to enable them to manage and improve their body’s function and wellbeing.
