Therapist Spotlight - Georgia
- Tuesday, 07 May 2019
This month we interview our lovely therapist, Georgia. Many of you met her already and had a chance to experience her great personality and energy. Check out what she does in her spare time and find out more about her dreams:
What celebrity would you rate as a perfect 10?
Hmmm, I can’t really think of one… Maybe Emma Watson – she is just a really good ambassador for strong-willed and independent women, great feminism supporter (but in a good way) and an amazing role model. She is also a very talented actress, a british icon and a woman of such beauty and elegance. I simply like her morals.
What is the best and worst purchases you’ve ever made?
Best – it’s got to be my new car, 100%!
Worst – I do buy excessive amounts of clothes that I don’t wear but carry on ordering more of the same.
What is it about massage that made you choose it for your profession?
I wanted to help people, offer them support and healing the same way I was offered with my experience of chronic fatigue illness.
What do you think about when you’re alone in your car?
(Laughing). “Why won’t the car in front of me go faster?!”Haha
If you could be any animal in the world, what animal would you be and why?
I would be a butterfly, I could fly in and out; people would admire me. I would be delicate, beautiful, carefree and adventurous.
Where can you see yourself in 20 years?
Hopefully, not in an old people’s home! I would like to be happily married with children, living in Spain on a big farm with dogs and horses. And sangria ☺
What would be your dream place to live?
Spain or Italy - I need sun and sea.
What inspires you?
I recently joined a workout programme run by two Australian girls. They promote healthy ways of living, positive self-talk and prioritise self-kindness, good nutrition and enjoyable (but brutally challenging) exercises to do each day. They also offer a close community for all the members and are real mental and physical health supporters.i
What are you known for?
Being bubbly, energetic and loud☺ and maybe for my dimples, too.
What do you feel most proud of?
I feel most proud of the way I have overcome chronic fatigue illness and dedicating myself to developing and improving my career as a massage therapist.
Who is the most important person in your life?
My mum and my sister’s dog Monty!
If you could only keep five possessions, what would they be?
Meditation mat, the book of motivational quotes, car, Monty and my wishbone necklace.
If you won the lottery, what would you do?
I would invest in a property here in London. I would definitely continue to work as normal and pay my family back for all their support over the years. I would also buy a house abroad and go away for long holidays, especially to the Maldives.
If you were a queen, what is the first thing you would do?
Take a selfie with my crown on☺
What is a skill you'd like to learn and why?
Develop my Spanish, be fluent in it – it’s great to be multilingual.
What does a perfect day look like to you?
Clear sky and sunshine, happy clients, great energy, nutritious food and a good workout. Also a coffee with friends, lots of laughter and perhaps a glass of prosecco with dinner before bed☺
What do you like about Fulham Massage & Wellness?
The people. It’s also the most professionally run and managed place I have ever worked, incredible mentoring and support, amazing clients who I am lucky enough to have established strong relationships with.
