Osteo 29

Osteo 29 - Julia Clerc-Renaud D.O., M.Ost.

Registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and member of the Institute of Osteopathy (iO).

Julia has been practicing as a registered Osteopath for the past six years in London, where she has been continuously developing her different fields of expertise. For her, treating patients with Osteopathy is almost a “lifelong learning” as each case is unique and challenging.

fullsizeoutput 3216During a consultation, Julia will take her time to do a detailed case history followed by a full physical examination and treatment. If the treatment is not indicated Julia will be able to refer you to another appropriate specialist.

Her aim is to find the cause of your body’s dysfunction in order to decrease pain, promote healing and improve your daily life. Julia is using the full range of techniques offered by an Integrated Osteopath. This includes structural manipulations, visceral and cranio-sacral osteopathy.

As a continuous professional development she also trained in the use of Western Medical Acupuncture (dry needling) and uses it as part of your treatment when required. All these aspects allow Julia to adapt treatments to each patient taking into account individual’s body history and needs.

Julia also believes that patients have a role to play to maximize the treatment of the body as a whole. In order to help reach and maintain ‘an optimum level of health and balance’ she also gives advice on lifestyle, posture and gentle exercises.

She also says: “The high level of professionalism of the therapists at Fulham Massage & Wellness has been a massive help to my practice as I am able to refer patients with full confidence when needed”.

Julia graduated with an Integrated Master Degree (M.Ost.) from the prestigious European School of Osteopathy (ESO) in Maidstone (Kent, UK) with the prize for Osteopathic Research Paper, which was presented to the 9th Chiropractic, Osteopathy & Physiotherapy annual conference.

Today, Julia is also a lecturer for the postgraduate international seminars at the European School of Osteopathy in order to share her interest and experience in Osteopathy techniques and patient handling.  She is also an examiner for the international section.
